Although community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) is a relatively common infection, there are wide disparities in its management, including the class of antibiotics chosen, the duration of therapy and the role of adjunctive therapy such as corticosteroids.
This module assesses the evidence for the approaches to some of these clinical questions regarding CAP management.
